How about ending your bush adventure with a three night excursion to the coast? This is an exciting add-on where you can explore the areas around either Kosi Bay or St. Lucia. This is your chance to snorkel in the sea, hike along the coast, observe turtles during season, volunteer with crocodiles and be exposed to intertidal and marine life. More detailed itineraries and rates can be provided on request.
For those schools who have an interest and the means, you can embark on a fundraising mission to sponsor specific conservation projects. Get creative through bake sales, sports events or use social media to raise the needed money to purchase camera traps, radio collars for monitoring or fundraise for a rhino de-horning experience!
We are very excited to welcome international school groups to our beautiful continent so please contact us for our international rates. We are happy to assist with all aspects of your trip in order to create an African adventure of a lifetime!
Rates provided on request
Costs for coastal excursions include transport, accommodation, guides, all meals and all activities. More detailed information on these experiences can be provided.
Adopt a camera trap:
raise R12,500 and have ongoing access to data for big five research.
Sponsor a radio collar:
raise funds for a collar (wild dog, predator or elephant). The cost is dependent on the species and will be confirmed by reserve management at the time of request. Additional funds can also be raised for the collaring intervention (R15,000 – R25,000). This will give a group access to the darting and collaring experience with a qualified wildlife vet.
Rhino dehorning experience:
raise R40,000 and a group of 15 people will be able to experience a full rhino de-horning intervention. Dehorning has been identified as an important strategy for deterring poaching activity.
A teacher is not required, but with a minimum of 8 participants, a teacher is hosted for FREE.
Excluded: Travel insurance, visas if required, expenses of a personal nature (food at the airport, for example), all flights for international groups
